This weekend I volunteered at a FIRST Lego Robotics tournament as a referee. It was interesting to see how the different groups problem solved the missions they had to achieve and their prioritization. You can see a list of the missions HERE. It was also interesting to see how the adult leaders lead the groups. Some focused on relaxing while others tended to hover. It was also interesting to see the dynamics among the students, some being completely dominate while others had amazing team skills. Even though it was a lot of standing, it was fun to see the progression and learning the kids went through as they progressed through the challenge (they had 3 times to try all the missions).
